Learn to Go Native – In Your Landscape and Garden

March 28 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Just in time for spring and all of those plant sales: Learn more about the nearly 2,000 plant species native to Missouri. Haley will share past, present and potential future uses of native plants in Missouri communities. Annie will share what’s going on here at Robidoux Row.
Plants are the foundation of many facets of our modern economies – from timber production to outdoor recreation – and they form the backbone of our agricultural history. Today, new uses of native plants improve quality of life for all, including creation of pollinator habitat, managing stormwater runoff and storage of carbon from the atmosphere. Annelise will share details of our own transformation in progress at Robidoux Row.
Free to the public and brought to you by Robidoux Row and the St. Joseph Historical Society.
